March 2024, Riyadh

The 2024 Achieving Women Forum, presented by Entrepreneur Middle East Impact, will mark the sixth edition of this flagship platform centered on discourse around women in the MENA region’s entrepreneurial and business space.

As an ode to the International Women’s Day 2024 theme of #EmbraceEquity, this year’s edition of the Achieving Women Forum will aim to explore actionable strategies that can help rebuild our world of work to be both inclusive and equitable.

This year’s installment of the Achieving Forum will be held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in March 2024 and it will feature a mix of keynotes, masterclasses, and panel discussions aimed at building a gender-equal world.

AGENDA

If we are setting out to rebuild our world of work, perhaps it’s worth looking into what it feels like to be destroyed or dismantled- and yet, still finding a way to renew and return from the ashes. This session will feature a deeply personal story of someone who once seemingly had all of the odds stacked against them, but managed to power through them all, and then arose, stronger than ever before.

Allies hold the power to stimulate positive change for an individual, community, or business, because they invest intentional, positive, and conscious efforts that benefit others. But how do we find allies for ourselves and our undertakings? And how do the rest of us put allyship in action? This session will aim to answer all of these questions and more.

Should our approach to work change in 2023–and how? The expectation that entrepreneurs should be passionate about their ideas and goals has left many in burnout, or reaching success that they cannot enjoy anymore, and that is why many have started changing their attitudes towards running their own businesses. Similarly, reports abound of employees demonstrating changing behaviors towards their employers, be it by quiet quitting or simply participating in “The Great Resignation.” One of the things the COVID-19 crisis taught us was to rethink our work-life balances–this session will see us revisiting this idea for our current realities.

In the context of uncertainty about the state of the global economic recovery, with some regions experiencing growth, and others being hit by an unprecedented crisis, business leaders have to grapple with different predictions and constantly changing plans and strategies. This session will look into whether bringing more women into leadership roles would lead to different decision-making processes as well as smoother and faster recovery and progress, while also analyzing how leaders in general should approach creating better pathways to growth in 2023.
